Both Bill and Rachel Clarke come from generations of family dairy farmers. They have been farming at Greymare Farm near Lostwithiel since 1985. In 1993 they made their first pot of clotted cream from milk produced on their farm. This was the start of adding value and soon milk was being bottled under the Trewithen label and delivered to local shops, garages, restaurants and hotels.

Still very much a family concern - two sons, Francis and George, have recently joined the team - Trewithen now employs over 80 people. Our staff share the passion and want to ensure that you can experience the deliciously fresh and natural taste of Trewithen products

The business has moved on in that the Dairy works very closely with local farmers who supply milk. In all, 17 Cornish farms (20 in April) have committed to providing milk for Trewithen Dairy. Great care is taken by our farmers to give the cows a wholesome, varied diet ........
